Spring on St Denis

 After a long winter we were keen to do some cycling.  Meeting at the Presse Cafe Louis & A.T. (W.G. came by foot unprepared to ride) the two set out on what was for them the first ride of the year.

 

 It wasn't a long ride, just over to rue St Denis.

That afternoon, A.T. went to the Falaise to fill the bird feeders.  He reported the American Goldfinches are back as well as a new sighting (for him) of Common Redpoll. 

 It seems that someone is tapping trees for (Maple ?) Syrup.
